Hello,

Please logout and login again?

Try again. If this still has not worked leave it about 12 hours and try again?

It is possible you have some caching enabled on your server.

Tony

STILL... Unable to save JEvents Config

I have tried every fix for this with NO JOY!!!

I have also verified with my host (bluehost) that the php settings are max_input_vars = 5000

Why in the world would this still be a problem... JEVENTS is worthless to me and my clients if I cannot change the settings???? PLEASE HELP!!!

______________________________

Unable to save JEvents Config

This is possibly because you are running php 5.3.x+ and the HTML form being submitted has more than 1000 elements in it. The JEvents config can exceed this number.

From PHP 5.3 onwards it has a default limit of 1000 on form input variables and therefore needs increasing.

Before editing your .htaccess file, ONLY edit it through FTP or a Control Panel, NOT your site.

To resolve this please add this to the bottom of your .htaccess file

# JEvents form submission issue
php_value max_input_vars = 2000
If the above does not cause an error on your site but the problem still persists you may have php suhosin install on your server so try:

php_value suhosin.post.max_vars = 2000
php_value request.max_vars = 2000
If that causes an error on your site then add this to your php.ini file

max_input_vars = 2000
If that does not work then you may have php suhosin installed on the server so try:

suhosin.post.max_vars : 2000
suhosin.request.max_vars : 2000
If you need more assistance with these settings please contact your hosting company

That's the thing - the /log path and file is in place without issue. Has been written to, even.

Hello,

Can you try referring to the direct path on your server? so for example:

/home/mysite/public_html/log
(The above may vary depending on your server)

rather than just /log

Does that help?

Thanks
Tony
