How to change jevents calendar module size?

JEvents 2.0 was launched over 2 years ago and the latest stable version is version 2.2 which will run on Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 2.5. JEvents 1.5 is therefore no longer actively supported - you should upgrade to JEvents 2.2+ as soon as possible.

Hi, I was wondering how do I change and enlarge the size of the jevents calendar module? I am using the latest version of JEvents. Any help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

CSS - using the Firebug addon for Firefox you can find the CSS selector you need to use to add a suitable width setting to your template css file.

If you are referring to the small 'mini' calendar this works for me. I'm using the 'alternative' styling. There are 2 css files in this location (change the path to the style yo wish to use):

/components/com_jevents/views/alternative/assets/css

To change the calendar size, edit the modstyle.css file thusly:

On line 4 or so, you'll see ...

.mod_events_table
{
border: 1px solid #222222;
width:140px!important
etc...

and then at line 95 or so, you'll see ...

.mod_events_monthyear
{
border: 1px solid #222222;
margin-top: 0.25em;
width:140px!important;
etc...

The 140px in these code segments sets the width of the calendar body and calendar header (where it displays month).

I changed both values to 240px and am happier with the larger output this produces.
