thanks for highlighting this - the problem was introduced with a new feature in version 3.0.10 which allows user who cannot publish events to see a preview of events when it is saved.

I have a fix for this and will release it as version 3.0.12 in the next 30 minutes or so.

Does jEvents have a utility or function to Export Events to CVS or Excel File format?

(We do a printed newsletter and would like to extract
calendar info in chronological order.

You can create a special print version of the date range menu item (this can be adapted to output a CSV file). It is described in a club member article ... -of-events (note that it requires some basic coding knowledge to implement though).
