Hi,

I'm trying to a import CSV file into JEvents following the format explained in various posts. I've attached the file to this post. I go to Manage Calendars and try to create a new calendar from file. I choose the CSV file (it was my understanding from other posts that I can upload a CSV file where an ICAL file was requested) and I receive a message "Missing Category". The category "Test" exists and is published. I realize that I have nothing filled in for RRULE because I hadn't figured that part out yet, but I wanted to see if anything would work correctly.

Any help to offer?

Regards,
Rob

Hello,

Did you select a default category when importing events? You need to select a default category for events which do not have a category set or maches.

Tony

Hi Tony,

It looks like I just skipped over that field on the screen completely. Sorry about that.

Thanks for the quick assistance!

Rob
