HI:

Here's the link:http://www.lillianfidler.com/daybreakchildcare/index.php/features/month.calendar/2013/03/20/-

If you move over each event, a popup box comes up with the name of the event, however, the details are in white text on a white background and can't be seen. I looked all over to see if I could change the color of the text, but can't find where to do this.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Great product!

Hello,

This is caused by your sites template. To override it inspect with FireFox and Firebug and then when you hover it will be at the bottom of the HTML Tab under jevtip if i remember correctly!

Tony

Hi, thanks for your reply; I contacted my theme development company - Rockettheme and the following was their response, Do you have some idea on how I can fix this? I'm not a programmer so do not have the know-how to add the correct code, etc. here's the response:

I am sorry but you will have to solve this with jEvents developer because
that IS their fault because their ".jevtt_text" css class doesn't have
color value attribute so your event text is using default color value which
is white

They have given you your answer - add a colour for the ".jevtt_text" css class

e.g.

Code: Select all
.jevtt_text {color:red;}

In the good old days template providers used to style up tooltips (a core Joomla feature) so that this problem didn't arise.

Hi Again: could you please let me know exactly where to find the css file to make that addition/change? I did put it in events_css.css and also mod_styles.css... doesn't work in either of those and I'm just guessing :.) Thanks for you help...

Hello,

Place it in your sites template.css file, in:

tempaltes/your template/css/template.css

usually. If it doesn't work after clearing your cache, add an !important just before:

Code: Select all
;

I thank you for your help, much appreciated. this is what I put in the template.css file: !important.jevtt_text {color:red;}

Still can't seem to get it to work - cleared the cache... I'm sure I'm doing something wrong :.)

Hello,

That is indeed very wrong, it should be:

Code: Select all
.jevtt_text {color:red !important;}
