I'm a SQL amateur but is trying to build a php-page that shows events from one category. I thought this should work

Code: Select all
select a.ev_id, a.catid, b.evdet_id, b.dtstart, b.dtend, b.location, b.summary
from joom_jevents_vevent a, joom_jevents_vevdetail b
where a.catid = 79
and a.ev_id = b.evdet_id
order by b.dtstart

It seemed to work at first but now it gives me events from two categories so catid is obviously not the id that shows on the categories page. Is it possible to do what I want and it that case, how should it be done.

what Joomla / JEvents Version?

From Joomla 1.5 to 2.5 there were some major category changes.

Feel free to PM me if you would like Custom Installs or Joomla! related work for a competitive quote.
