I'm using jevents 2.2.8 with joomla 2.5.8 and have a problem in the detailed view of events.
In the detailed view there is no event start nor an event end time shown.
{REPEATSUMMARY} just shows the date with no following time
Also {STARTTIME} and {ENDTIME} doesn't show anything.

If I check the event in the backend, I see the start and end time.
Also in the latest:jevents view I do see the time of the event.

I'm using the German translation package and also the 24h time format maybe that has something to do with it?

Can anyone help me with that?

Thank you very much.

Hello,

Are you using Linux or Windows for your hosting?

What version of PHP?

Hello,

This is likely caused by unsupported windows characters.

Furthermore, you are on php 5.2.6 that's really old you should be on 5.3.

OK, I'll update PHP soon.
But what do you mean with unsopported windows characters?
And what can I do against it?
I typed in the events in the jevent backend and that was also the only 'tool' I used to change event content (title, date, time, description,...).
How can I get unsupported characters in there?

Thanks for your help.

from of the standard php strftime options are not supported in Windows and can leave a blank output

Hi Geraint, thanks, that was it.
I do see the time of an event on the host server.
