Hi there,

I'm running Joomla 1.5.23 and JEvents 2.0.6.
I am able to import a CSV with about 427 events.
There are events of 1 day in the CSV file but also events of several days.

For example: A holiday which lasts a whole week, so 5 days, from mon oct 24 2011 - fri oct 28 2011.

Would be these lines in the CSV:
"CATEGORIES","SUMMARY","LOCATION","DESCRIPTION","CONTACT","X-EXTRAINFO","DTSTART","DTEND","TIMEZONE","RRULE"
"Vakantie","Herfstvakantie","Alle groepen","Herfstvakantie","","Periode","20111024","20111028","Europe/Amsterdam",""

But what happens after import?

On the monthly calender view only the days 24, 25 and 26 are marked as a holiday. When I hover over this period the pop up shows the period mon oct 23 2011 - thu oct 27 2011. Also when I look on the back-end in the component events it shows mon oct 23 2011 - thu oct 27 2011.

But when I edit the event and look at the calender, the end date shows oct 28 2011!?!?!

What went wrong during import of this CSV file?
Or didn't I build the import line correct?
It is not a repeating event. Just a single multi-day event.

I am not acquainted with the CSV import, but it might be related with the midnight configuration in the ical tab of the configuration area. Which value did you have when you imported the events?

Thank you for your reply.

Here are my settings for the JEvents Ical Import/Export tab:
- Timezone for your server: Europe/Amsterdam
(requires PHP 5.1+)
- Private Key for Ical Export not mentioned ;)
- Show Ical Download Icon in Event Detail No
- Disable iCal Exports Altogether No
- Add special export for Outlook 2003 No
- Multi day events show on first day only (this is overruled by the over midnight setting below) No
- Events over midnight show on first day only No
- Allow Frontend Import of Events Yes
- Allow URL iCal Event Editing No
- Offer html formatted descriptions during export No

Did you try with the midnight option set to yes?

I deleted all events.
I changed "Events over midnight show on first day only to yes"
I imported all events again.

But the problem stays the same.
