Hi,

we're using JEvents V1.5.5 and are considering implementing V2.0 but have some questions on possible new functions in this version:

1)Is it possible to unsubscribe from an event without having subscribed at all in order to definately inform the event administrator that this person will not be coming?
2) Is it possible to include a subscribe/unsubscribe button in the invitation mail?
3) If a registered user invites a guest with him and afterwards unsubscribes from the event, the guest also will be automatically unsubscribed. Is there a way that this could be avoided? Einfaher lösbar?
4) Is it possible to send specific reminder mails just to the users that haven't answered to the invitation? At the moment, reminders have to be sent to all users even the ones who have subscribed.-
5) Is it possible to remove any payment information since we're never using this function as the events are all for free?-

Any hints are welcome,

Regards, Dani

RSVP Pro allows you to say 'no' to the 'attend this event' question - this is a positive statement that the person will NOT be attending.
2) Is it possible to include a subscribe/unsubscribe button in the invitation mail?

No the user must visit the event page to subscribe

The only way to avoid this would be for the user to change their registration and change their selected options. e.g. you have an event with a mean and have a vegetarian? question and the user invites a vegetarian guest then they could remove the guest and change their choice to 'vegetarian' and the guest would go in their place. (Does that make any sense?)

You can re-send invitations and these will not be sent to users who have made an attedance choice.

Certainly is - simply don't install any of the payment mechanisms

Hi Geraint,

thanks a lot for your answers. We'll do the upgrade as it seems it should work out fine for us then.

Best regards,

Dani
