Does this module have a plugin ?

Like i have few events entered in jevents calendar component, i want to display the upcoming events to visitors in the side bar beneath the poll, and mail the members 1 day before the event date.

How can i do this ?

There is a gold member addon called "attendance, invitations and reminders" which can be used to track attendance, send invitations to events and also visitors can request email reminders.

See http://www.jevents.net/en/jevents-club/ ... gistration for an introductory doc.

Well, am not bothered about the attendance, invitation would be a good to have functionality (but not mandatory).

All i want is a plugin which can give a gist of upcoming events ( ex: 30-07-2010 Full moon day pooja ).

And yes, i saw the membership addons, but had high hopes when i saw this as non-commercial in the extensions section. So if theres a way i can achieve the above requirement please let me know

You can do all of what you want with the free version of JEvents apart from emailing before the event.

What you need is the latest events module.

OH good, cool then.

When the user enters the site, i want to display the gist at the right side, technically i think its like a module ( like block at the right side similar to main menu at left ). I played with the component, i dont see it has installed any modules by itself for this purpose by default.

please let me know the steps for achieving the requirement

Not having email functionality is a loss which can be afforded.

And thanks a lot in advance :)
