JEvents 2.0 was launched over 2 years ago and the latest stable version is version 2.2 which will run on Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 2.5. JEvents 1.5 is therefore no longer actively supported - you should upgrade to JEvents 2.2+ as soon as possible.

I would like the monthly calendar to display the "extra info" field in addition to the time and title of each event.

Can anyone tell me what code can be used within calendar_cell.php to reference the event's Extra Info field?

I am using the "alternative" view for my project; so I'm modifying the com_jevents/views/alternative/month/tmpl/calendar_cell.php file
-- and also ../calendar_body.php -- to design my monthly calendar's appearance.

Thanks for your attention.

Code: Select all
$this->event->extra_info()

Similar question, but this time I need to access the event's category rather than its "extra info".

Never mind, I just figured it out:
$this->event->catid()
