JEvents 1.5 (No longer actively supported)

Location and contact form fields are to small

JEvents 2.0 was launched over 2 years ago and the latest stable version is version 2.2 which will run on Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 2.5. JEvents 1.5 is therefore no longer actively supported - you should upgrade to JEvents 2.2+ as soon as possible.

Could you please define the form fields "location" and "contact" as an unlimited free text field with html format content like the field "additional informations"?

I would like to display the following contact content:

(02853) 2527 - <a class="link-mailto" href="mailto:kita.stludgerus-schermbeck@bistum-muenster.de">kita.stludgerus-schermbeck@bistum-muenster.de</a>

Regards
Joerg

If you put an email address in the contact field it is automatically converted to a mailto:link with javascript spam protection. Also if you put a http:// link into the location field it gets converted into a URL.

After version 1.5 comes out one of my plans is to implement a managed locations plugin

URLs will be converted correctly:

http://www.kita-st-ludgerus.de to
<a href="http://www.kita-st-ludgerus.de">http://www.kita-st-ludgerus.de</a>

With Mail there is something wrong:

mailto:joerg.heinemann@kita-st-ludgerus.de not be converted
joerg.heinemann@kita-st-ludgerus.de not be converted

PHP 5.2.6
Joomla 1.5.9
Jevents 1.5.0 SVN 1312
Apache/2.2.11
Linux pd1000 2.6.16.26-grsec
MySQL 4.1.22

I just created and event and added joerg.heinemann@kita-st-ludgerus.de in the contact field and it was converted fine. You should not add the "mailto:" part.
