JEvents 1.5 (No longer actively supported)

SOLVED - Editor Popup background image  Topic is solved

JEvents 2.0 was launched over 2 years ago and the latest stable version is version 2.2 which will run on Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 2.5. JEvents 1.5 is therefore no longer actively supported - you should upgrade to JEvents 2.2+ as soon as possible.

BTW... Thank you for such quick responses. I grow tired of waiting for responses from sites I am a paid member of. We are a nonprofit and all funds go to services, but as soon as we can get a few dollars together, I will GLADLY pay for pro version!

OK, so with maximum turned on, I open the event editor (on a new page, not popup). Then I change the subject line a bit. Then I click either Save first or Apply first. In either case, I get a refreshed page with no changes applied. If I try doing it again, I get the following error: 'Invalid Controller - ifdocument'

Alas... the invalid controller comment came from the use of RokBox. When I changed back to TinyMCE, I can save, but now I have my frontend editing rpoblem again... {sigh}.

OK. Solved it by selecting default editor to none.

The RokPad editor only works with Joomla content items.

you could also try the JCE 2.0.20 editor which has a more up to date version of TinyMCE built in

Thanks again to you all for your help and suggestions! upgraded to Bronze... counting the pennies to see when we can afford to upgrade to Gold! - we're a nonprofit that puts all resources to services, so, I have to pay these expenses out of my pocket, any discount for nonprofits? :)
