Hi all,

I am using Jevents 3.6 free version, Joomla 4.1.0. I have a number of categories in which I have a number of events per category. On the front end when I click on the event, the category color does not show up for the particular category. I was wondering if their is a fix for that. Thank you.

Here is an example for October of 2022: https://testsitej4.cloudaccess.host/index.php/calendar-of-events/monthcalendar/2022/10/-

Can you show a screenshot of your J3 site to highlight what you are missing in J4?

p.s. sorry for the delayed reponse I was on vacation and didn't get online as often as I would have liked

Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me.

Here is my jooma 3.x site: http://merrickpost1282.org/postcalendar/month.calendar/2022/08/24/-.html

Here is my joomla 4.x test site: https://testsitej4.cloudaccess.host/index.php/calendar-of-events

If you hover over a joomla 3.x jevent you see a color, if you hover over a joomla 4.x jevent you see no color.

I've taken a close look at this an the Joomla popover methods in Joomla 4 make it impossible to pass in the background colour to the tooltip/popover. The javascript strips it out and there appears to be no way to work around this :(

I'm looking to implement our own popover and modal classes to avoid this type of problem in the future but this is still in the early stages of development :(
