Hi all,

I am using Jevents 3.6 free version, Joomla 4.1.0. I have a number of categories in which I have a number of events per category. On the front end when I click on the event, the category color does not show up for the particular category. I was wondering if their is a fix for that. Thank you.

Here is an example for October of 2022: https://testsitej4.cloudaccess.host/index.php/calendar-of-events/monthcalendar/2022/10/-

Can you show a screenshot of your J3 site to highlight what you are missing in J4?

p.s. sorry for the delayed reponse I was on vacation and didn't get online as often as I would have liked

Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me.

Here is my jooma 3.x site: http://merrickpost1282.org/postcalendar/month.calendar/2022/08/24/-.html

Here is my joomla 4.x test site: https://testsitej4.cloudaccess.host/index.php/calendar-of-events

If you hover over a joomla 3.x jevent you see a color, if you hover over a joomla 4.x jevent you see no color.

I've taken a close look at this an the Joomla popover methods in Joomla 4 make it impossible to pass in the background colour to the tooltip/popover. The javascript strips it out and there appears to be no way to work around this

I'm looking to implement our own popover and modal classes to avoid this type of problem in the future but this is still in the early stages of development
