I am unable to update JEvents 3.6.75 to JEvents 3.6.76. The error message is
«Index column size too large. The maximum column size is 767 bytes»
This seems to be related to the database, I guess. But I have no idea how to resolve.
Thank you and kind regards
Chris
This should have been resolved in JEvents 3.6.76 - can you enable Joomla debug mode to see if you can get more information about where this issue arises?

I set «Error reporting» to «Maximum» and «Debug System» to «Yes». This is the result:

The debug console is larger than the screenshot is displaying. I do not know, which information you are looking for.

Thank you and kind regards

I see the problem your server is configured with a maximum index size of 767 bytes

This is highly restricted for a multi-byte database storage - where each character is represeted by 4 bytes

Can you try this build?
