Unable to Edit Unpublished Events or Past Events

I have been using JEvents for several years and find it efficient and easy to use. But suddenly when I go in to edit events, I can only see current, published events. It does not matter whether I say to show Past events, I only see current published events. I have entered some new events, which I left unpublished and now want to publish. They do not show up, even though they have dates in March, 2018. So the only way I can put an event out is to wait until the day I want to publish it and make sure to set it to published before I close it. And I have to remember to unpublish an event the day of the event, or I cannot access it. There has to be a way to correct this.

I am using Joomla 3.8.3 and Jevents 3.4.43. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
