Tring to move calenders from one website to another website

I have 4 calendars on my website, I am trying to move them to my new website. I am using the 3.2.4 version of JEvents on both sites. both sites are running the same joomla 3.3.6. I have exported all the data tables related to JEvents and imported them to the new website database. All looks good until I go to Manage Events then nothing shows up. The calenders and categories are there just no events. The configurations are the same on both the old and new sites. Can someone help and tell me what I have done wrong?

I'm afraid you can't do that. You need to copy the category tables and assets from Joomla! too.

Ideally, it would be easier to just create a JEvents Export Menu Item on the old site and generate an export. Then on the new site create a new calendar and select from file.
