Hi,
Will you match the tags joomla> = 3.1 to JEvents tagging.
This allows for a tag search on all content (agenda, article, ...) ??
Thanks
Hello,

We are thinking about migrating JEvents Tagging to Joomla! Tagging but as Joomla! 3.1 is still only a short term release we have not been that focused on developing such a script in case Joomla! make more changes which in turns means we need to make more changes.

Geraint will be able to provide a better idea of time scale.

Many thanks
Tony

There are also new features in Joomla 3.2 that we want to incorporate (e.g. Meta-data for search engines etc.). We are working on an update to the JEvents.net site - once this is done we will start concentrating on new features like this.

Is on the TODO list.

The highest priorities are always features requested by club members.

Has Joomla tagging support been released yet? The silver tagging system doesn't mention if it's joomla tags and it looks like a separate system, so I'm a little confused.

Hello,

There hasn't been much demand yet so we just use our own Tagging plugin which was available since Joomla! 1.5.

When we do move to the Joomla! Tagging system we will provide a Migration system to move from ours to the Joomla! Tagging system.

Many thanks

Hello,
Joomla! Tagging system is really super powerful
It allows to better manage the taxonomy of all the best components <!-- s;-) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";-)" title="Wink" /><!-- s;-) -->
I hope it happens soon

There seems to be very little demand for this so its not currently on the high priority list.

I agree a future developments page would be a good idea and we've been looking at voting/member feeback systems.

I would definitely appreciate proper tagging. At the moment I can tag articles that relate to an event but not the event itself. Definite +1 for Joomla tagging.
