Hello,

Welcome to JEvents!

Firstly... Clear your browsers cache.

Second, try it with the Joomla! default template?

do you have a link?

Many thanks

hi tony, carsten again.
by sending you the links, it came to that:

i found out that, when you putting www at the beginning of my url, the error message changes

from: parsererror, SyntaxError: expected expression, got '<'

to: parsererror, Error: jQuery111305199800401362549_1452271153423 was not called

best regards and many thanks

Hello Carsten,

Yes, your host has high notices reporting on as standard. So it we outputting a notice in the javascript call. This therefore meant that it was failing.

Many thanks

I have a fix but your site seems to be inaccessible so I can't apply it.

I installed eXtplorer so you will probably want to uninstall that.

change line 129 of components/com_jevents/controllers/modcal.php from
preg_match("/XYZ(.*)ZYX/s", $content, $match);
to
preg_match("/XYZ(.*)ZYX/sU", $content, $match);

Does that resolve it ?

Hello,

When you have maximum error reporting enabled then it fails as a php notice message is output in the script. You should never have error reporting on a Live site and it should be set to none.

Many thanks
