Hello

I have a Problem with my .ics export File. On my iPhone and Android phones all events are added correctly. When i import the file in Outlook 2016 then the events in the Summertime got the wrongt Time. All events in the Summertime are shown one hour to late.

My settings are shown in the Attachments.

Thank you for your help
Kind regards Daniel

Hello,

Please can you provide a copy of your export file and also the time/date of an event which is within it? So I can check if the file is correct?

Many thanks
Tony

Hello,

Ok so the event is that time in the calendar and right now in France it is not +1 hour. I'm afraid our calendar is outputting the event correctly it appears Outlook is adding 1 hour on to it, make sure the timezone is set correctly in Outlook is all I can suggest.

Many thanks
Tony

Hello Tony.

The timezone is set correctly in Outlook, thats not the fault.

If i replace:
DTSTART;TZID=Europe/Berlin:20180406T200000
with
DTSTART:20180406T200000

then the Event is shown correctly in Outlook. Can you now imagine what the issue could be?

Tanks

Hello Daniel,

The issue is with outlook. It thinks Europe/Berlin is +1 when it is not yet, can you configure it to not mark it as summer time?

Alternatively you could hack the core and remove the timezone. But then you will have issues with all the other calendars which are working correctly like you iphone etc.

Many thanks
Tony
