The Spanish Stable language pack ;o)

Edit:
The 1.5.1 B1453 has no different strings with the 1.5 Stable.

Hi Carcam :-)
I've just tried to installed the spanish pack, but unfortunately I got the following error [color=#FF0000:2pzp8ede]"Language Install: No core pack exists for the language :es-ES"[/color:2pzp8ede]
Did it work ok for you?

Hi LadyRipley,
this error message appears because you don't have the language es-ES installed in your site. You´ll have to check your language codes (for example, es-AR for Argentina) and change the name of the file accordingly to them. You also must change the codes inside the xml file that is into the package and the filenames of the .ini files.

This could be rather annoying, so perhaps the easiest way is to change the .ini files name and upload them via FTP.

Btw I am uploading the 1.5 stable version in another thread, and there are 2 new strings translated, so you should use that files.

Carlos

Rather than starting a new thread - can you edit the first post in this thread and upload a new file. You can leave a simple "changelog" in the message.

thanks

Geraint

Hola, he instalado el componente así como los módulos, he creado un link en el menú principal hacia el componente.
Los módulos se visualizan corretamente, pero al clikar en el calendario o en el enlace al componente de mi menú obtengo un error diferente en cada navegador:
Podeis ver los errores directamente en <!-- w -->www.facturae.org<!-- w -->

Chrome:

IE7:

HTTP 403

Firefox 3:

Estoy bastante perdido, cualquier aportación será de gran ayuda!

How exactly do you install the language pack? I'm quite new at Joomla, currently trying to make a new dedicated site for English to Spanish Translation and i want to add this module to what will be my homepage... but I can't understand where I can install the new language! As it is, parts of my site show in english and some in spanish, cause I messed around a little and don't really know what I did.. so, how do I reset the language settings for the entire site, and how do I install the spanish translation for this module? Any ideas??
Sorry for the n00bness...

Install the joomla language pack using Joomla installer in the backend of Joomla - if your site is mixed english/spanish it sounds as though you are having problems with Joomfish not JEvents.

In case you did not notice the latest version of this file, you can find an updated language package for the Spanish language in the Downloads section.

So I shouldn't have to install a specific language pack for Jevents, right?

Actually you have to. JEvents only provide the English language out of the box. For other languages you have to check the downloads area and install the language package.

The Spanish language package for JEvents 1.5.5 is:

After installing the language pack, is it only the language code in the xml file that needs to be changed?
