I have tried multiple times to post in the Gold/Silver part of the Forum without success, what am I doing wrong, I believe I have a Silver Subscription?
So my previous attempted post is as follows:
I'm looking for a way in the monthly and weekly views for the Calendar to sort events by category as the primary sort function, or is this already possible in any of the custom functions, if so, some guidance would be great for a non-coder?
Moving forward, how about an added feature of a Planner view, eg Left fixed Column could contain Categories, Top fixed Row could contain consecutive dates then the events could slide left to right whilst still displaying Top row and Left column.

I am so sorry you were caught in the moderation queue due to spamming we moderate new users posts.
Those views out of the box sort by time / date opposed to category as is logical. You could drop those views are using the JEvents Category view instead? That would sort hem by category groups?
