Is it possible to show the month calendar - with all the options you have when you create a menu item as month calendar - in a module position?

I know of the month module month calendar, but it has limited views and functionality. I want the full version, but in a module position.
If you are wanting to place some text on the calendar page and thus think adding it as a module would be better, we do have custom module positions for you to enter text into for that page for instance. See:

Many thanks

You will need to look at Joomla modules/plugins that allow you to load components anywhere e.g. https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/components-anywhere but you may not get the full benefit of all the config options working.

Hi,
I see this complicated workaround, why just not make module View by Month like in Menu options?
Even batter, make module for all menu options. This quest for getting Month view in module position is ridiculous.
Cheers.

Hello,

Because the month view needs a menu item for it's routing. You should use the JEvents menu item as the main menu item and insert modules around it.

Many thanks
