Select Event Creator "üäö" issue

Hi,
i just stumbled upon the following problem.

We have different members with umlauts (äöü) in their names. For example: Günther

If i enter "gü" i get a list with all members with the last Name Günther. If i enter at least three letters (gün) the list is empty.

Using the last Version of Jevents and Joomla.

Where are you selecting these names from? Is this in the type search when creating an event?

Does it work in Joomla! as expected?

HI Tony,

yes it is a type search and the field has the title "Select event Creator" when creating an event.

When i go to the backend > user > search it works as expected.

But i was to hasty in the type search in jevent other names with Ü ex. Müller are working as expected ( mü,mül,müller) when creating an event.

But there are six günther all vanishing when i type gün.

I had a look in the databasetable > users > name > Günther but there it looks alright.

i don't know why but now it works. I've created for a test a new User with the same lastname. And now all Users with the lastname günther are displayed.
