My registration form has some customs fields capturing user data and also the number the tickets he wishes to book.
I want to allow cancellation of the tickets booked but disallow changes to all the custom fields. Is there anyway to do that?
If i disallow changes by confirmed attendees, user is not able to cancel his attendance although "Allow attendance cancellation" is set to Yes.

Did you set the "Close Cancellations Period" field on the attendance tab to a date/time value that would allow cancellation?

Yes. My event is on 16 August. It is a non-repeat event.
I've set the 'close registration period' and 'close cancellations period' to 14 August.

Edit: When i clear the "Close cancellations period", it works.

Please advise if I've understood properly? Does "Close Cancellations Period" refer to the last day which cancellation is allowed? After this day no cancellation is allowed. So it seems strange that if there is no close cancellations period, cancellation is allowed. But if a date is set, cancellation is not allowed.

If i click on the Calendar icon in the "Close Cancellations Period", there is a calendar with the words Clear | Today | Close.
If i clear the calendar, it seems to work.
