I have my users sorted into groups where each group has a different access level. For example:

Parent Group
- Child Group
- - Grand-Child Group 1
- - Grand-Child Group 2

note: each group has multiple users.

With email notifications, i need emails to be sent every time an event is created but to a specific group. For example: A user in ‘Grand-Child Group 1’ create’s an event. A notification email is sent to all users in ‘Grand-Child Group 1’ AND ‘Child Group’. However, notifications to not get sent to users in ‘Grand-Child Group 2’. Is this possible?

Can email reminders be sent multiple times? For example, a reminder email to be sent 5 days before, 3 days before, and then 1 day before the event.

Thanks
Hello!

1. You can specific which user groups get automatically notified. Although this is globally for all events.

2. If you use RSVP Pro you can setup event reminders, but at present we only allow sending 1.

Many thanks

Hi Tony,

Thanks for your reply.

That's good news that we can specify which groups can receive the notifications when the event is created.

Does this mean i can choose more than 1 user group ?

Lastly, does this mean that users who are creating an event can choose which groups can receive the notification? If this is so, is it possible to have this setting locked so users are not able to choose which groups can receive the notifications? I would like to always have notifications sent to specific groups by default.

Thanks

2. no I am afraid not, however.. That's a good idea!

Many thanks
