Hello,

jevent can also RSS feeds. The feed the Joomla rausgegeben about Jevent, can not be read cleanly. The fornat is not correct, I get as an error message.

I'm about to create a skill for Amazon Echo Alexa that will allow me to read the feed. But for that I need a proper format. Is this issue somehow possible?

I can not give a link directly! If you do not have one, you can create an account here https://developer.amazon.com/en/alexa-skills-kit
And then just create a Flash Briefing Skill, where you have to enter the link to the RSS feed. So far OK! But then when the system checks it the following error message appears: Failed to save skill information

There is an error parsing the feed. Please ensure that the feed is valid JSON or RSS.

Hello
Unfortunately no, for privacy reasons, I can not do that. I can send you the link to the RSS feed via PM. What is created by Jevent.

Hello Deta,

There is nothing private on that area. It is php version and extensions installed, what is private about that?

Feel free to send me the RSS link you are trying to use.

Many thanks
Tony

Hello,

Firstly set a target menu item within your module to a JEvents frontend menu item.

I'll take a look at the validation locally, ideally can you provide me via PM an event export so I can validate the titles etc are not causing issues with RSS Feeds.

Many thanks
Tony
