I am the webmaster of this website.
I am looking for a calendar for our classic car club (Triumph TR2-TR8).

Question about setting up the calendar on our club page= https://tr-register.de/
Question 1: Can the search function also search by category?
Question 2: We are a classic car club with 12 regional groups throughout Germany. These create and maintain their dates themselves (always one person per group) in their area (eg https://tr-register.de/index.php/regionale-gruppen/hamburg/termineinfos) Can it be set so that there are individual rights for these groups?

1. We use Joomla! Categories so that should be fine. But you can use the JEvents Legend module to filter down by category?
2. Yep it certainly can be done! :-)

Can I preset the number here from 5 to 10 or otherwise?

Since I don't have a view there, I guess I need to purchase a club membership first.
I just set up jevents in our test environment to introduce it to our club board. Only then can I order a purchase version.

I have purchased the club membership sibler and also entered the access code (see attachment 1).
However, I cannot perform any other configurations.
