Hi,

Please help in the following issue of JEvents.
While we used Joomla v.3.4.5 and JEvents 3.4.0 Stable there was no problem with our Custom Layouts in backend, and custom fields could be added successfully in Event Edit Page (see jevents_layout_ok.jpg)

But when we upgraded Joomla upto 3.6.5 this Event Edit Page was damaged and no any chance to edit new field into Event Edit Page (see jevents_layout_failed.jpg).

If to upgrade JEvents till Version : 3.4.25 Stable this doesn't help.

Please give a hint how to solve this problem.

Regards,
Anna
Hello,

You had disabled the editor none. I have enabled this again now and it works as expected.

Please note, you have a lot of out of data club addons and layouts. I advise updating them as soon as possible since they were not designed to work on J3.4.25 and we cannot guarantee how they will work..

Many thanks
Tony

That looks like a PHP error - please enable maximum error reporting in the Joomla config and report back with any extra information this then gives you on this page

Please also make sure your editor is up to date and you have cleared all your browser caches.

I used JCE editor, but if to change it to TinyMCE no positive effect anyway. Cache is cleared.
And i got an error in browser console when pressing Event Edit Page link:

ReferenceError: Joomla is not defined
Joomla.submitbutton = function(pressbutton) {

Joomla debug console doesn't display any particular error.

Can you give us the URL and login details on the private site details tab below so we can take a look. It looks as though a key Joomla javscript file is not being loaded on your site for some reason.

I logged in the frontend and the backend and I don't see any problems with editing or adding events. Can you tell me what steps I need to go through to see the problem?

p.s. The FTP details are not normally needed (we'll change the wording on the site details tab to avoid the confusion in the future)

Please follow Joomla backend > Components menu > JEvents > Custom Layouts > click Jevent Edit Page >> you'll see the view is damaged. It was ok before update joomla.
And if to open others links in Custom Layouts table ( eg.Event Detail Page) >> the view is not broken and can be used.

Because I debugged the code, your server is not allowing the display of errors so I had to debug the code.

It looks like 'editor-none' was always disabled on our site and it worked in disabled state
Ok, now it totally fixed.
Thanks a lot for your help and time!

Anna
