Posibility to "Mark as done" - Checkbox per event

Hello,

So out of the box it is not possible if you are wanting to allow input into the event list / details.

It is possible if you are happy to edit each event to tick if it is done.

It could be done with a custom custom field which is custom coded with an ajax helper, likely using gwejson to handle it.

Since I will be using Jevents for daily tasks, as a to-do-list, and with users not as comfortable with "the web" as me, editing every event one at a time will take too long. Do you think it's possible to implement something like above?

My idea is for it to be for one checkbox/toggle for every event for each repete of the event and for each category.

One ”checkbox” for every single event in a row. One checkbox per category and every time the event is recurring. Per every unique task.

Category A
Category B

Event A (Same thing but uniqe checkbox for each Category)

(I know this is possible to do in menu with List of Events however the categories is in the same column and the event is not per category just per day and the overall description)

Event A - Cat A - 190101 - Desc - Done? [X]
Event A - Cat B - 190101 - Desc - Done? [ ]

Event A is done for Catergory A but not B. And in the List view I would like a toggle to be able to update the event for every single time its recurring to mark as done.


Edit: Its maybe easier to apply this in like the List by Day menu item per category instead of the List of Events, I just saw that it was possible to come close to what I would like to achieve with the List of Events menu.

Ok so we should be able to do that with custom fields and write a custom AJAX helper which on click updates the event if the user is authoriised to update the event.
