Hi

I have jsut started using Jevents and RSVP pro

How do i create 1 event but listing under it multiple dates, times and tickets prices:

Eg 30th October, show times 2pm and 5pm
1st November, show times 2pm and 7pm
2nd November show times: 2pm, 5pm and 7pm

All of which offer 3 ticket prices (£5, £7 and £10)

Is it also possible to cap the number of tickets someone can purchase?

thank you
Caroline
Hello Caroline,

You can't list multiple events but you can have one event occurring on these dates and manually enter the dates/events in a list option?

And then set the registration session to an event as a whole.

For cap, yes you just set the capacity value and enable capacity on your event. For more information on RSVP Pro see the documentation here:

https://www.jevents.net/docs/category/rsvp-pro

Thanks
Tony

thank you

Can you tell me a bit more about where i edit the dates/times in the list option?

Re the capacity, what i am wanting to do is limit the number of tickets an individual can purchase - so although the event capacity might be 40, an individual can only buy 3 tickets is that possible?

thank you
Caroline

JEvents (and hence RSVP PRO) will not not allow you to enter more than one repeat within a single day so you would need separate events for the 2pm, 5pm and 7pm series (and can delete modify the exceptions to these date/times).

You can set up the fields as a number of tickets field that contributes to the overall capacity and offer the option of 1,2,3,4 or 5 tickets. This is a select list field where you set the fees for each entry.

If you would like me to setup an example template then please send me login detail via PM.
