Thank you,

Hello Linda,

This is down to how your theme/jevents is setup.

If you go into:

JEvents -> Configuration -> Main monthly Calendar

you can change the tooltip type, try that first.

Many thanks

Thanks Tony - I changed the tooltip type from Bootstrap to Mootools, cleaned the cache and still see all the html for the tooltip div. I checked in Firefox as well as Chrome and there is no change.

Thanks,
Linda

Hello Linda,

Looking at your site it looks to be down to the template removing the core bootstrap which is what we use for tooltips.

Can you check your theme options?

Many thanks

Thank you, well, as you have seen, I'm using the SJ_Charly theme. and in the docs it says it's compatible with Joomla 3.x and uses Bootstrap v3.

I can't find any options to turn off the core bootstrap. I looked in Templates->Styles->selected my sj_charly - Default style now under Tool Utilities I have Mootools disabled. Now SmartAddons has other plugins etc. that came with the theme. In the plugin YT Shortcodes, I had Show Bootstrap as No - I changed it to Yes, no difference that I can see. I also use K2 for my articles.

When I view source for my site, I see bootstrap files included in various places. When I inspect a link, it refers to jevbootstrap.css. I do see jevbootstrap in the class declaration for jevents_header and jevents_body

Hello,

Unfortunately it's not 100% compatible as it doesn't include thee native tooltip code.

What about disabling the tooltips, would that suffice for your usage case?

Many thanks
