Could be either:
1. Your SEF addon that has locked the SEF URL
2. You have hard coded the menu item instead of using the Joomla menu editor to select JEvents->Calendar view
I would suggest you use the new SEF setting for JEvents on the SEF/Performance tab of the JEvents config - then if using an addon like sh404Sef you then should purge your JEvents URLs.
