Hallo everybody,
is it possible to set meta-description and meta-keywords for single event?
Thank you
Hello,

We do offer a plugin for Bronze Members to do it on a per event basis.

Many thanks
Tony

Hallo Tony,
thanks for your reply: I'll relate to the customer and evaluate all the options.

One more question: it seems to me that the application is REALLY slow when the jevents (module or page of the event) is involved. Are there any indications to give to my service provider to make it fast? Or anything I have to set on the application?
Please, help since we can't go online so slow.

Wait for you and thanks, as always
S.

Hi SeptekLab,
JEvents is extremely optimized regarding DB queries and other aspects and actually we usually do not enable by default options that might have a performance issue. Anyway if your site has lots of events there are some DB queries involved so we usually advice our users to enable cache and we do provide a document with some optimization techniques for your whole Joomla! site for our Club Members.

Anyway how many events do you have on your site? Did you perform any test with speed tools?

Hallo
first of all thanks for the info.
I've got 7 events so far, I don't think they will become much more.
Not tested yet: can you suggest me a tool?
Wish to have the address so you can see yourself?
Wait 4 you,
S.

Hi Septeklab,
7 events are not relevant for performance things, so I do not think JEvents is being the cause of the impact you are noticing. Anyway you can check with Google Page Speed or YSlow services to see which aspects of your site are causing the slowness.
