We had en event in the top of our calender "Thursday 1 january 1970. In the database there are 1331 records with this "Donderdag 1 januari 1970" tag: all old events. Also when I remove all events from a category, I cannot remove this category because the Jevent component tells there are still the events. So when I delete old events, they are not deleted in the database.. Since Joomla 3 I have difficulties with the component.
.
What shoudl I do? Uninstall the extension completely and then start all over??

The latest 3.2 version. Updated two weeks ago from an older 3.2. There is a lot going on with this component. When I make a new category and move some events over to see if the 1970 event is gone, this category is not shown and not in the category list in the frontend. So when I open the calender page (go to ebg-hetbaken.nl and open via menu Kalender)
But only this view shows weird date. When I go to month view the 1970 date is gone.
In staging copy of the website I removed 1331 redirect link records in the database with the 1970 tag. But then on the frontend it is the same as on the live site. So that cleanup didn't help.
In the staging copy I will tonight remove Jevents completely and reinstall. See what that brings. I hope to get expected beheviour back.

Can you send me login details (including the URL) via PM so I can take a look at your event data.
