I have a multiple sites using JEvents and it works fine on the Live sites. One of them (nernmra, org) is undergoing a redesign. Our hosting provider (SiteGround) has a staging capability, so they essentially cloned the site into a staging site. Both the Live site and staging use the same versions of everything --- php, Joomla, JEvents, etc. But on the staging site (staging1.nernmra.org), none of the navigation links in Jevents work, whether that be navigating to next or previous month, clicking on an event, etc. No matter what link I click on, I simply end up staying on the current month view. This is using JEvents 3.4.33 with Joomla 3.6.5 and PHP 7.0.

Really the only thing that comes to mind is that JEvents was installed in the original (Live) site and everything got cloned to get the staging site (by the Staging tool.) This makes me wonder if the fact that all the links are prefixed with "staging1." causes some issue. I tried turning on debug as well as macimum error reporting and that didn't tell me anything. I definitely will want to get JEvents working in the staging site because I don;t want to end up pushing the redesign Live and then having to tweak JEvents in the Live site.

Any clues for what to look into appreciated.

P.S.: The event calendar links are:

Live working site: https://nernmra.org/index.php/events
Staging JEvents non-working site: https://staging1.nernmra.org/index.php/calendar
could be your htaccess file or rewrite settings on the clone. Check that first.
Only thing I get was an invalid security cert.

Hello,

Firstly please make sure you have cleared your cache. But that is very strange error.

Can you try disabling SEF Urls?
