I have an old website that's running great but I'm struggling to do any updates to get a Joomla version 3.8.11 up to 3.10.12 and thought it best I see what will be affected and think this one would be. I get Events free and it runs great no issues with my Google calendar to add events.
But how am I going to get it updated free and up to date? I do not do events they are just copied from a club to give me learning practice to running sites and find it handy though we can do it on Facebook now so it's not something I am concerned about a bit would like to try to keep it running it's over 7 years old now the site.
Hope someone can help I'm a little slack on websites at mo so please take it easy on me. :-)

The most up to date version of JEvents is version 3.6.80 - see https://www.jevents.net/download-area/jevents/441-download-jevents
Your existing version is so old that the update system isn't showing the most up to date version after we changed it a couple of years ago.
