Hey there!
I'm posting this here mostly with a grain of hope that this will even improve the jEvents. I've been the user for years and the component itself never let me down. However, with the latest install, there has been a weird glitch with translation for Slovene.
The Frontend seems to be technically fine, but the Backend is ... I can't find any words appropriate for this forum.
So, there are two major problems:
1. Everything seems like it was just simply put in Google Translate (and therefore the component is 70% impossible to understand, even after using english version for years, I don't know what the heck some functions mean).
2. Whoever made the translation, should check some basics how to edit .ini files (check the attachment bellow, it's directly from the file I got).
What I'm trying to say here is - I really appreciate that someone put some effort to make Slovene translation available, but there should be some basic quality check before things like this are published. I would never dare to publish work like this, this doesn't help even a bit, not only that, but it makes the usage of the component close to unusable. So, please, check the translation and if the problem persist, remove it from the website - or give the work to someone who can turn in something decent.
Bottom line - I'm still amazed what you guys are doing here - and what you get even for free. But don't throw that away just by letting these sort of glitches through.
Thanks for keeping up the good work!
