JEvents Module - need to sort the upcoming events first

Hi Team, am a beginner in joomla and jevents ,need of your help.

Sorting problem
Old events are shown first,the upcoming events are displayed at the end. I need the Upcoming events should be shown first and old events at end (or) Recently updated event at first.

inside "JEvents Configuration> Module Config> " i changed the mode as 3 ,5 etc nothing worked out. changed the "Sort reverse" to YES.

Even "maximum event to display" option is not working in my end. the default value is 10 i changed it to 20 but it dint worked. i have totally 12 events in which 10 events are shown in first page and the remaining 2 events on the second page.

Hello,

Go into the module and configure it there.

Then you can set it to show future events only.

By default, then you will see the latest event upcoming and so on.

Thank you for the reply.

I got into Module Manager and checked all features ,no JEvents feature has control over the Event listing.

Do i Need to add new JEvents Module?

Hello,

Can you please clarify where this is?

Are you using a JEvents Module or a JEvents Menu Item which you are trying to configure?

Thank you for your PM.

Joomlart! have installed our extensions and also created template overrides which is why I suspect our settings are not working.

If you disable(i.e. add a _ to the end of the folder name):

/templates/ja_events_II/html/com_jevents
/templates/ja_events_II/html/mod_jevents_cal
/templates/ja_events_II/html/mod_jevents_latest
/templates/ja_events_II/html/mod_jevlocations
/templates/ja_events_II/html/com_jevlocations

Do the settings no work although the styling will be gone. If so you will need to take it up with Joomlart.
