I migrated a website from 3.10.11 to 4.2.6 and when checking I found out that in the smart search component an error occurs if you do smart search and then maintenance and then optimisation.
If the Jevents smart search plugin is enabled, you will receive a message that an id is missing from the database.
Unknown column 'id' in 'field list'

Have disabled the plugin for now
I'll be doing a new release of JEvents later today which will fix this issue

In the latest version of Jevents this seems to be working now, so I'm closing it
