AH
Thankyou so much for sorting this out for us.

For future reference , I don't think it was admin tools as that was not put in till after the error occurred.

It appeared at a time we re putting allot of mods in both Jevent's and Community Builder.

This site was the first iteration of this version of a site for us, we gave three more fresh installs in a way to see if we cant recreate the error.

Also the project we are working on is about providing the best experience we can for our users and we are feeling limited in this through our natural ability to learn what we need to know. In other words we will get there, or we can ask/hire someone and just say this is what we want and what would you do to Jevents mod to make it super cool, show its best side.

Do we take this up with you or?....

Peace

Robin

Many thanks

I have contacted Joomlart re whether the template might be at fault, they checked this by switchign template to protostar and the error still appears. They suggest to be in touch with JEVent.

Are you guys waiting for anything from me?

Peace

Your menu items appear to have changed or are unpublished.

Can you reinstate the problem menu item so we can take a look?

Also please upgrade to JEvents version 3.4.53

I installed eXtplorer to get more diagnostic information and it threw an error

function iconv() not declared and that the error was called in the Joomla smart search (finder) extension via a 'featureshield' extension (part of adminTools???) - I disabled the JEvents smart search plugin for now so that it works.

The full solution is to get your webhost to enable iconv (see https://www.php.net/manual/en/book.iconv.php)

Hi Robin

If you are interested in us doing some commercial work customising your site or JEvents within it please send me a PM via the 'envelope' icon at the top of this page so we can discuss further
