Hello. I work for an event registration platform, and one of our prospective clients is using our ical events feed to integrate with their website. Here is a link to how one of the events is loading on a staging site:

http://cp.cloudaccess.host/calendar/eventdetail/4706/-/times-square-night-photography-workshop.html

We are definitely passing the URL in the data per standard ical formatting. I am wondering, is the client maybe missing something that would pull in a clickable URL that would drive traffic back to the registration site? Cheers!

Ok, so you are setting the ical URL: field which is great. So NYCPS just needs to set his Custom Event Detail Page to include the URL so:

Imported from: {{Website URL:URL}}

I've done this for him and you can see it in the original link.

Many thanks
Tony

Hello,

It's very possible the remote isn't providing the original link of the export.

You can set:

Insert Source URL into Export

within: JEvents -> Configuration -> iCal Import / Export.

And it should insert the url to the bottom of the description for you.

Many thanks
Tony

Tony -

Thanks for the prompt response. The configuration was already set as you indicate above but it's not working. Any other hints?

Tony did you get a chance to look at the zip file that was attached?

Yep, it contained the URL so I advised you need to include the URL tag on the event detail pages so I did.

If I am missing something there, please can you elaborate the issue you still have?
