Can I export Jevents data (events themselves, locations, people/resources) from one MySQL database, perhaps via PHPMyAdmin, so that I can migrate data from my old website format into my new format? If so, can anyone please advise which table(s) in my MySQL database I need to extract the data from, and for which dataset (events, locations, people)?

Thanks

Hello,

you can migrate all the JEvents tables i.e. jev and jevents but if you do this, you will also need to migrate your Joomla! categories too.

Many thanks
Tony

Hi, there is no a plug in or a feature in the new version of JEVENTS to export all events and categories to another installation of JEVENTS in another joomla?

I need to migrate my joomla and with him also the JEVENTS data (categories, events past, present and future, and all any other parameter of the old installation 3.4.25) to a new and fresh installation.

Which could be the best pratic?
Thank you

Hello,

So you kinda can if you haven't got many club addons you can do a JEvents iCal Export menu item and export all iCal Data which is the main event data.

Then on the new site, create a new calendar and import from iCal.

Many thanks
Tony
