Hi
I am building a site which has the aim of providing a weekly (10 weeks) online course, via Zoom.
I'd like to schedule the courses using the calendar. The calendar has to register users and provide them with the information to join the course at the appropriate time and date(s). It also has to connect to Zoom so that the "meeting" is scheduled with them, as are registrants.
What can JEVents offer in this scenario?

You could use the JEvents custom fields addon to attach the relevant links to the events and restrict access to these to certain groups of users.

Additionally RSVP Pro offers the option to your users to book events and you can add custom fields to these bookings which could include details of the Zoom meetings.

I would suggest you sign up for a gold membership and take a look at what RSVP Pro can offer and we can answer any questions you have in the gold member forum - if it doesn't do what you need you can request a refund,

JEvents Club members can get priority forum support at the Support Forum. As well as access to a variety of custom JEvents addons and benefits. Join the JEvents club today!
