How to have data in format DD-MM-YYYY in ALL site

Hi,
I see on "JEvents - Core ยป Date range" component page data on the small boxes with events in the format YYYY-MM-DD.
How to have in format DD-MM-YYYY in all component?

Hi,
I've read but where is the file with translation?
I don't find date constants on language/it-IT/it-IT.com_jevents.ini . Also I'm using the italian translation and I see already the date in YYYY-MM-DD format that is not Italian.I've set " use date formats from the language file."
