Hi,
I have downloaded de-DE_JEvents.zip
Now, I cannot find any documentation on how to change the language?
Please advise!
Thanks
Christoph
Hello,

So you will need to manually translate them I am afraid with the language override tool.

Many thanks

Hello Christoph,

That's because JEvents doesn't control the language and this is the standard part of Joomla! core.

You need to install the Joomla! de-DE language pack first, then install our language pack files. Once you have installed the Joomla! one and set the Joomla! Language JEvents will automatically be translated.

Many thanks

Hi Tony,
thanks for the quick reply. It works!
However, JEvents does not save the setting 24 hour clock (unselect 12 Hour).
The event date/time in German looks like this: Freitag, 29. Januar 2016, 04:00pm - 05:00pm
instead of 16.00-17.00 Uhr.

Thanks for your help again

Hello,

This time setting is for inputting events only.

In the JEvents Config -> First Time, set it to load time/date from language file. and see:

Many thanks

Installing Joomla! De-DE pack first worked like a charm. I was having the same issue. Thanks Tony!
