Google Subscribe link imports existing events, but events added afterward are not synced

With an iCal Export Menu item, we are seeing different behavior for iCal and Google users:

If you click <strong>Generate Export</strong>:

1. <strong>Subscribe to Selection</strong> works for iCal; the current events are imported into the user's calendar and events, and events added afterward will appear in the user's calendar.

2. <strong>Add to Google Calendar</strong> imports existing events, but events added afterward do not appear on the user's Google Calendar.

There is only one calendar.

When imported into iCal, the calendar displays events created after the import took place.

Google will import the calendar, but does not display events created after the import took place.
