I had a lot of trouble with the list view and the relstart setting in the menu until I found out it was my misunderstanding caused by wrong placed angle brackets in the languagestrings for the tooltip. Don't know if this is the right way to submit a language correction, but here it is (administrator/../de-DE.com_jevents.ini):
