I would like to export all events from the calendar and save all information about the respective events. Is it possible to export all events as xml? If not, is the information readable in the database that I can access it via SQL? (I don't have access to the system at the moment, so I couldn't test it yet).

We offer CSV built in?
If you create a JEvents List Of Events menu item you can select all fields you want and then in its options set CSV option to yes.
